Real-time scientific data platform for climate research
GAWPFR (Global Atmosphere Watch Precipitation Fluxes and Related Parameters) is a scientific data platform that collects and visualizes information from a network of meteorological stations.
The platform provides researchers and stakeholders with real-time, daily, and climatological data on precipitation fluxes, offering advanced tools for visualization, analysis, and data export.
With design by Blind Studio and development by Kukarika, the new platform was built as a React + Node.js application, combining interactive maps, advanced charts, and scalable data management into one reliable system.

A scientific platform serving researchers — heterogeneous data sources, real-time ingestion at scale, and an interface that has to make complex datasets approachable.
Integration of multiple meteorological stations and heterogeneous data formats.
Handle a very high volume of measurements from real-time databases.
Efficiently aggregate, transform, and normalise raw data streams.
Interactive charts and graphs for real-time, daily, and climatological datasets.
Optimised queries, caching, and rendering — fast and stable under heavy loads.
Data can be easily exported in researcher-friendly formats (CSV, JSON).
Architecture that scales with more stations, parameters, and visualisation types.

A React + Node.js system with interactive maps, time-series + climatology charts, and a scientific-grade data export layer. Design by Blind Studio.
A reliable scientific instrument — real-time at the source, navigable for the researcher, exportable for the lab.
The GAWPFR platform is a state-of-the-art scientific tool that combines real-time meteorological data ingestion, high-performance processing, and advanced visualisations in one environment. With Blind Studio's design expertise and Kukarika's technical development, GAWPFR now empowers researchers worldwide to access, analyse, and export precipitation flux data with confidence.
